Aerospace
Products manufactured for aerospace applications have to withstand frequent exposure to extreme conditions. Our forming solutions give you reliable and precise support in the manufacture of these complex products.
We develop solutions for forming components in and on housings as well as drive components, as far as possible in a single clamping setup. Our spinning machines are used for the precise forming of propeller spinners, inlet rings, ring segments, outflow nozzles, flanges, and steel pipes. High machining precision enables extremely narrow tolerances and good concentricity. Forming leads to improvements in material properties, such as increased strength, which enables a significant weight reduction.

We develop solutions for forming complex fuselage components. Our flow-fomring machine is the ideal solution for heavy duty forming of rotationally symmetrical hollow bodies with constant or varying wall thicknesses. Flow forming with cylindrical, conical and embossed chuck contours enables suitable metal alloys, including hardened and tempered steel and aluminium alloys, to be subjected to cold chipless forming.

Our technologies stand for economic efficiency, short cycle times and high precision forming of tank vessels, tank bottoms and tank necks. Forming leads to improved material properties, such as increased strength, that enables a significant reduction in weight. In addition, it is possible to conduct reliable checks of wall thicknesses, for example with bulges in critical areas.
