Your area of responsibility

As a cutting machine operator, you will work in production and contribute to the production of precise components.
You will be responsible for the production and processing of workpieces made of metal.
You will set up machines such as lathes, milling or grinding machines and monitor the production process.
Quality control of the manufactured parts is also part of your job, for example by measuring and testing.
You will also carry out maintenance and repair work on machines and tools to ensure smooth operation.
You may also be involved in programming CNC machines to ensure precise production processes.
In assembly, you will be responsible for finishing and assembling components into functional assemblies.

Your profile

Good secondary school leaving certificate, technical secondary school leaving certificate, A-levels
Passion for tools and machines
Enthusiasm for accuracy
Good spatial awareness and good maths skills
Quality awareness
Ability to work in a team

The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years. Under certain conditions, it is possible to shorten the training period.
