Your area of responsibility

Development and design of mechanical assemblies and new machines, taking into account cost optimisation in the use of materials, purchased parts, procurement, production and assembly
Creating pipe designs in SolidWorks with the Routing & Piping module
Provision and approval of digital production specifications
Independent creation of assembly and machine designs
Carrying out calculations for machine and component design
Co-operation with the project managers responsible for process engineering, hydraulics, electrical engineering, documentation, project management and sales
Technical support for machine assembly

Your profile

Successfully completed training as a mechanical engineer specialising in design engineering, preferably with initial experience in the design of machine tools or special machines or
Completed mechanical engineering technician training with a focus on design and several years of practical experience in the field of development and design
Knowledge of the 3D CAD system SolidWorks 2020 or higher and previous knowledge of vocational training in a metalworking profession is desirable
Confident handling of MS Office applications,
Knowledge of a CAD database, the PDM system Profile and the ERP system AMS would be desirable
Analytical and goal-orientated way of working
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English as well as an unlimited right to work in Germany are required
