Which materials can be processed?
Leifeld machines are designed for forming aluminium and alloys, steels and stainless steels, titanium, nickel alloys, copper, and brass. Non-formable, brittle, or abrasive materials (e.g. fiber-reinforced plastics) are not suitable. We’ll advise you on the best material and process setup.
Which forming processes does Leifeld offer?
We manufacture machines for all key processes in rotational symmetric forming: spinning, flow forming, necking, profiling, shear forming, and more. Even complex geometries can be produced efficiently and precisely – often without any additional machining.
How does a project with Leifeld work?
Every project begins with a personal consultation. Together, we analyze feasibility, select the optimal machine and process, and prepare a LEIFELD PE-drawing. On request, we produce prototypes or run simulations to validate results. After design and manufacturing, your machine is assembled, tested, and installed on-site – followed by comprehensive training for your team.
How fast are Leifeld machines available?
Standard delivery is typically 10–12 months. Through our Fast Forward program, selected models are available significantly faster.
What services do you offer after purchase?
From installation, training, maintenance, and spare parts to retrofit and digital services, we support you across the entire machine lifecycle.
Can I produce prototypes at Leifeld?
Yes. In the LEIFELD Lab, we manufacture prototypes, samples, and small batches quickly and flexibly. We also conduct tests and simulations to validate your ideas both virtually and practically.
