Leifeld Metal Spinning GmbH owned by Sumitomo Heavy Industries plays a decisive role in writing the future of chipless metal forming. As member of the Global Metal Forming Group the company is present in all the major global markets due to numerous branches on all the continents. With its strong team all over the world Leifeld develops, manufactures and distributes a broad range of machine tools that master technologies such as Spinning, Flow Forming, Hub forming, Flange Forming, Spin Extrusion, Shear Forming, Profiling, Necking-in and Splitting. Suitable for a wide range of applications, the machines are individually designed for the Automotive, Aerospace, Wind & Engergy, Pipes, Oil & Gas, Agriculture & Construction, Lighting, HVAC, Food & Chemical industries.
With its market leading brands LEIFELD and NIHON SPINDLE the company aims to shape our industry for the better, representing a driving force in its transformation and adaptation to new paradigms.
