The WSC series is designed for splitting, profiling and/or flow-forming wheels
and rim profiles from a variety of preforms. The wheels undergo structural transformation during flow forming, which reduces their weight and results in a significant reduction in the amount of CO2 emitted during vehicle production. The system can be tailored for large or small quantities, according to the requirements of the individual customer.
The FFM series is conceived for flow-forming cylindrical rings prior to the subsequent final forming of weight-optimised wheel rims. It serves to strengthen the base material and also reduces wall thicknesses. Measuring apparatus is employed to ensure compliance with rim tolerances , resulting in precise rim widths that require no further trimming after the flow-forming process. This can lead to weight savings of up to 0.8 kg per wheel, depending on the size.
Our ST…RS series is conceived for the production of wheel discs or
weight-optimised rims for lorries. These machines feature high stability - even when subjected to severe vibration - coupled with efficient loading and unloading units. The three forming rollers ensure a symmetrical force distribution along with high disc concentricity.
